The Leafs were all smiles as they cruised to a 3-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes to give head coach Sheldon Keefe his 1st win in his 1st game in NHL.
They hope to keep the good times going tonight against the Colorado Avalanche.
This will be the first time Nazem Kadri faces his old team, whom he was with for 10 years to start his NHL career. It will also be the first time Alex Kerfoot and Tyson Barrie meet the Avalanche since the trade. Both teams SHOULD be fired up for this one but it may be a little one sided.
Tyson Barrie on facing Avalanche for first time since trade:
"Oddly enough there's no ill will. I'm kind of rooting for them in my heart so it's nice to see them do so well."

Hopefully he finds a reason to get fired up.
If I’m on the Leafs I’d keep my head up, as Kadri often goes over the line during games such as these.
There’s only one change to the lineup expected, as Nic Petan comes out and Nick Shore takes his place. Shore is a Colorado native, so coach Keefe has elected to let him play in front of family and friends in his home state.
One line-up change coming for Leafs tomorrow, per Keefe
Shore in for Petan
