Game Day !!!
Similar to most Leafs fans, I do not deal well with a day where my beloved Blue and White are not playing.
Tonite the Leafs (3-1-0) travel to Detroit (0-1-2) to take on the arch-rival (just kidding its no longer anything meaningful) ‘Dead Things’.
Coming off of a massive and most complete victory of the season versus the Dallas Stars, the visiting team will look to continue that 60 minute effort versus a team that is in the beginning stages of a rebuild.

Do not take this Red Wings team for granted. They are fast, they can play with an edge and they will finish checks.
Keep your heads up at all times, and on a swivel.
Scoring a converted touchdown in back to back games what can we expect from the Leafs?
No idea. In fact, nobody has an idea.
Early on in the game against Dallas, Ray Ferraro quipped ‘well this wont be like the last game….no 7-6 games here’.
Technically he was correct, the Leafs didn’t give up 6, they only gave up 4.
Nobody can predict when this Toronto team will explode for 7 or more goals. Sadly, they could also give up 7 or more depending on the night.
Frederik Andersen gets the start in goal again for the Maple Leafs, and the lineup remains identical with the exception of Martin Marincin drawing in beside Travis Dermott on the final pairing.
Did anybody else see an issue with Ozzy in the last game? I didn’t either, and I would prefer some continuity starts to develop on each pairing but what the hell do I know? In Babcock We Trust…….kinda.
