ISLANDERS (25-19-10) at MAPLE LEAFS (25-18-11)
7:30 pm (TSN4)
It seems like my subpar coding created an error in our Game Day sign up form, so unfortunately I am tasked with writing today’s GDR. I can tell you one thing, if looks could kill I would be dead 1000x right now. My special valentine is about to throw knives at me. Her eyes say “GET OFF THE FUCKING COMPUTER BEFORE I MIX CYANIDE WITH YOU MASHED POTATOES”
I want the Leafs to absolutely obliterate the Islanders with hopes of Mr. Tavares seeing what a real hockey organization looks like. Possibly swaying him into thinking “I want to be a part of something special”
Our beloved Leafs are 4-4-2 in there last 10, acquiring 10 out of a possible 20 points. Not good enough. If this playoff train is to be, this team is in for a tough go in the final 28 games. They still have 6 back to backs, 5 of which require travel. Screw off with your parity driven ideology Bettman.
The Islanders are 6-2-2 and are coming off a win. They are currently out of a playoff spot but could leap frog the Leafs and Flyers with a win. **Bites nails
Leafs net-minder, Frederik Andersen is in the hunt for his 100th win and with some puck luck, a.k.a PDO (jab-cross-left hook), he may find it tonight.
Future Captain Serious, Auston Matthews, had this to say about the importance of tonight’s game.
“I think we should be focused every single game,” suggested Matthews.
So gang, lets show these Islanders what happens when you play the Leafs on real ice. BUDS ALL DAY
Sorry for the spelling and grammar errors today, I have been dodging knives, my valentine can really chuck em’
