Alright Leafs fans…..this should have come as no surprise but Freddy Andersen will be out for approximately 3-4 weeks with an upper body injury. Many believe the injury is to his shoulder which he appeared to land awkwardly on, after being bowled over by teammate during a World Cup of Hockey qualifier. Frederik Andersen is still believed to be an upgrade between the pipes for the Leafs this season, but this news couldn’t come at a worst time….(I am still channeling The Hip).

This tweet released yesterday by Leafs PR team (by way of Uncle Lou) and it confirmed everything we need to know about the injury for now.

During an interview, Head Coach Mike Babcock said he truly believes that Andersen will be ready to go for the opening of training camp and will be in Toronto for his rehabilitation and conditioning in the interim.
So let us say (because we are Leafs fans and have dealt with this before) that Andersen is out for a longer period than expected.
Do you trust/believe in a goaltending combination of Jhonas Enroth and Garett Sparks?
